Eider on the Estuary

Mrs CBL and I enjoyed a delightful walk through the sand dunes at Newburgh on Ythan before returning along the beach. The estuary was teeming with wildlife (seals, eider ducks, sanderling, oystercatchers).

It was a joy to be there on such a sunny day (9°C!).
