Funny Ol' Game

Tried my hand at a sports assignment today. Tricky. Many challenges, not least of which was video. I needed a gimbal for my A9 (the RX100 being dead and that gimbal being no help). Fine. Got it 5 hours before shooting. Took me 4½ hours to figure out it's not suitable for my camera set-up and I wasn't inept. So then, ….video and stills of the game (near impossible), make sure you get the goals (plain impossible). Then 18 quick portraits before the showers. Did I mention bad light. Oh, and all to be delivered before Monday morning for a board meeting for the charity.
