A Fun Evening Out

This evening we went with two other couples to dine at Yvonne's
-- a relatively new (and very hip!) bar/restaurant not far from our apartment.  Yvonne's is where the famous old Boston landmark, Locke-Ober used to be -- a real relic from the belle epoque, which opened for business in 1875 and finally closed in 2012.  You can still take in the carved wooden splendour and the glittering chandeliers as you sip trendy cocktails and enjoy tasting plates amid the chatter of bright young things out for a fun time on a Friday night.  We had a great time!
