Surfeit

A surfeit of roses.  It's just that they are simply stunning this year, and they seem to be lasting longer than is usual.

This is your common or garden iceberg, from the wedding lawn at OGH.  Whilst they might be as common as garden muck, and therefore to be avoided at all costs, I have a soft spot for the Iceberg.  So reliable, and in a public garden such as OGH we need reliability!!
