Bower

Nipped up to the Botanics to catch a recommended exhibition but, as often happens, I was too late - it came down at the end of the month. Never mind, up to Inverleith House to see the Natural Selection exhibition and that's well worth a visit. I liked this bower, a man-sized version of a bowerbird's construction that I've seen in many a David Attenborough documentary. They're built to attract a mate so maybe that's why you're not allowed to walk through this one.
Bumped into D&G there, D suffering from this lurgy that's going about and calling off from the pub tonight. I'm not that great myself but I feel the walk, company and ambience will do me the power of good!
