A day out in rememberance of WWI

I went to Nieuwpoort , by the seaside. This is the place ,in WWI , where the floodgates were openened. So the Germans were stopped and couldn't go forward to take the whole of Belgium. On the picture one can see the Albert I monument. Albert I was the king during first WW. Underneath the monument is an interresting museum dedicated to WWI and the flooding.
