Pool of Mirrors

Liverpool used to hold three or four fireworks displays on or around 5 November. Austerity and logistics means that can't happen now, but nevertheless the council still manages to find some spare cash for a central blow out at Pier Head.

I didn't hang around for the main event, but there were a few engaging sideshows including this Kazimier created installation in the canal by the Three Graces. It's money well spent judging by the size of the crowds.
