Whooper Swans

It seems to be a very good year for the number of whooper swans visiting the UK from Iceland for the winter. They must have had a successful breeding year. These ones were on the Loch of Wasdale, not far from Finstown, part of a group of 22, with 20 mute sans, 60+ wigeon etc. The three dark birds are juveniles.
