Mirrie Dancers Ower Tingwall Kirk

A really windy day, but the sun has been shining all day long.  Still breezy tonight, but fine clear skies.

We raised about £1,300 last night at the charity event.  Day off and up fairly early for a Sunday.  The morning was spent around the house, and then headed to Burra after lunch, for a walk at Minn beach.  Some big waves rolling in at the cliffs.  Mam popped by for a cuppa and we took Sammy for a walk also.  More walkies with Sammy this evening, until fireworks went off at the back of 9pm, and Sammy desperately wanted to get home.  Feet up for the night now.

I headed out with Sammy and we went to find some Mirrie Dancers (northern lights). There was a fairly good show of them tonight, not the best but still fine to watch.  It's been a while since I last snapped some photos of them, as I'm usually working when they are out.  The Mirrie Dancers over the Tingwall Kirk and graveyard.
