Burnin' down the house

The neighbors had the fire department burn down their house. They plan to build a mcmanison in it's place. Almost every cottage along the beach has been replaced. People moved here because of it's charm. Then they tore down all the cottages, built  huge homes and now they want a gate put up to keep people out. There is a state park at the end of the street that is home to a lighthouse. No matter,  people do not need access to that park. The last of the charm went up in smoke today. Do you think anyone will notice?
