Mono Monday - "Far" - from the Madding Crowd!

This has to be my favourite Thomas Hardy novel and also one of my all- time favourite films from way back in 1967 with the lovely Julie Christie as Bathsheba Everdene!  Alan Bates was perfect as sheep farmer Gabriel Oak and Terence Stamp made a very alluring Sergeant Troy.  I still have the LP of the soundtrack with this picture on the sleeve.  I was racking my brains for something to blip today and this is as far as I got - sorry!
