This way? No way!

On my usual walk to work I was confronted by this impassable object in my way. In all the wind and rain one of the trees had been uprooted and was lying across my path.

Obviously that meant I couldn't get to work...
...unless I bravely hacked my way through all the branches.


Ok so the tree wasn't so big that I literally couldn't see over the branches.
...and yeah I had to crouch and get pretty close for this.
...yes, there was plenty of room to walk around the fallen tree.
...I suppose other people may have managed it easily.
...but I did have to walk 10m out of my way and stop for this photo.
