Lest We Forget

I found this in a quiet part of Weymouth today and as I will be back in Basingstoke doing the final packing on Sunday and unable to Blip this then I wanted to have this as today's blip.

These memorials have been slowly appearing over the last year to commemorate the end of the First World War, The Great War! 

As an ex-serviceman, I see nothing Great in war and am drawn to a parallel with the current Brexit negotiations here in the UK and Europe and feel the people in power and politicians let us the public down badly. Power and self interest still seem to be the order of the day. 

Have we really learned anything?
