Orchids

I think that I said that I have taken to buying a couple of orchid plants and putting them in a pot on the kitchen table. Although they are expensive, they last for a couple of months and works out cheaper than buying cut flowers. And they are rather fabulous. (The only trouble is that afer flowering they then have a very, very long "resting" period before they flower again)
