Stairway To Heaven

I've been meaning to photograph this ever since I saw a friend's image of it a year ago. After grabbing the photo, we spent the rest of the day at our friend's house. She lives in the mountains and is the most amazing cook. We always find it difficult to leave but the later we leave it, the more hair raising it is because we have to go back over the mountains, in the pitch black, with hundreds of deer at the sides of the road! :-/
