Doroba Women's Farm

Trying to tame the wilderness is the job in hand.
This is part of a women's group working on a 23 acre model, co-operative, commercial farm which Wells for Zoe purchased, earlier this year with a plan for them to repay the money in five years.
They are clearing this part for maize growing, and waiting for the rains to soften it up.
They have already made 50,000 bricks for a house and farm buildings, which will be built later and they have repaid us 25% of their borrowings by selling some bricks and seedlings.
We are working on new agro-forestry systems with the ministry, as well as a system of planting nitrogen fixing trees throughout.
We hope to have pigs and cows later as part of a conservation/sustainable system
