Remembering the Merchant Navy

Another walk to the doctors surgery and another walk along Weymouth seafront.

I noticed this memorial a few days ago and had it mind to include in my blip journal.

It's only a couple of days away from a very significant anniversary. 100 years since the end of the First World War.  The war to end all wars! 

Oh if that was only true

On Sunday we will rightly be remembering our service personnel who laid down their lives but we should also remember all of the other men, women, children caught up in war. I know I will.
