In The Dark Spot

I was short of images again, or so I thought. Ceridwen, who is celebrating her birthday, suggested I go out onto the street and shoot a blip for Kendall's One Street challenge. I cannot refuse her birthday wish!

I rode my bike to a few places in the neighborhood, and I thought, Well it's all been blipped before! But when I got home, there was a mini-blackout. My side of 45th Street and both sides of it as I pedaled North were in deep shadow. Here is what my block looked like, starting two doors below mine. The lights came on again after a few hours.

Also, I discovered tonight that Laura Earle thinks that burning candles are toys --of course!
