Waiting for the tide

It was a fairly unpromising day when I set out this morning but as I walked down to the beach I met a group of men waiting to lift a boat out of the estuary. I would have loved to have captured that but they were waiting for the tide to raise the boat. Later a group of Mallards sprang up and flew across my sight, we were all a bit surprised but I managed to catch them against the wind turbines so I've included it in the extras. A lovely walk which far exceeded my expectations!
