After the Rain....

It was dull with low cloud and light rain when Maisie and I went walking very early this morning. Anticipating very wet tracks and puddles en route, I wore my traditional Kiwi “Red Band”gumboots, (Wellingtons for those in the UK). And, as seen in this image, there were numerous puddles to negotiate. Maisie became very wet, grubby and disheveled during our walk to the Meadowbank Station Bridge and back. But she was a happy little dog!
