A Poppy For Remembrance

Couldn't let today go by without a mention of this special time.  We are concentrating very much on World War I at the moment, but there have been many more lives lost in many wars, conflicts and senseless attacks  over the years.  Will it never end?  The world seems more unsettled now than I can ever remember it being.
Sorrow for all of those killed or lives ruined by their experiences, and for those grieving for the loss of loved ones.  On this day more than any other I think of my father, who was a soldier for many years, as this day each year was so special to him.
