Full rainbow

We had a beautiful rainbow arcing across the sky early this afternoon. This was taken by my son through his bedroom window using panoramic mode.

This morning we went down to the local war memorial for a remembrance service. We had a brilliant young trumpeter (didn’t look more than 10) play the reveille and the national anthem. (There were lots of people there and the road was closed ten minutes late at about 10.55. It was dangerous as people, children and dogs were wandering all over the A29. It was a miracle nobody got injured). We were going to go to the village hall for refreshments after, but it started to rain heavily and it looked as though it would be absolutely packed, so we went home for a coffee.

Yesterday I went to a women’s day in Bognor which had great worship, teaching, and also crafts in the afternoon. I got to meet a lot of new people and it was very enjoyable (and made a snowman for the Christmas tree and a couple of cards!)
