Hot Spring

The 11th of November is an odd date in Germany - well, it is here on the Rhein.  The 11th of November marks the beginning of what is known as the "Fifth Season" or Karneval or Fasching or Fastnacht.  

A marked contrast to the (somewhat) UK.

And every year I think of this song and think "I can't be the only one who thinks like this."
