Unexpected

The plan was to meet up with my brother & nieces & Rosemary (my step-mother) at Oxford Island for lunch & a walk.
I didn’t expect to see this group arriving to swim in Lough Neagh, apparently they do it every week, some more than once a week. They talked any newcomers in, instructing them to take care as the slipway is slippery, breath, talk & can you believe it they were singing “We are all going on a Summer Holiday”!
As it is Remembrance Day, I was remembering 5 great uncles (all brothers) who served in WW1, two of them Charles & Thomas sadly died, the 3 that did return home, never married. Over the weekend the coverage was very moving.
