Remembrance Day

Christ's Hospital School Band Marching past the Cenotaph on Remembrance Day

They conducted themselves with discipline, dignity, and precision and surely must have made their school proud. Resplendent in their Tudor Uniforms, worn every school day as normal uniform from the bands round their necks and their long 'Housey' Coats, to long yellow socks in their black polished shoes they looked magnificent, marching in time as they played their music and led with such pride and such great aplomb. Very well done.

Founded in 1552, the result of a vision of King Edward V1, since its establishment Christ's Hospital has been a charity school, with a core aim to offer children from humble backgrounds the chance to have a better education.
