March of the Imagination

After the Remembrance parade this morning we sorted out a few errands and then went to see this year's light show at Compton Verney.

Unlike previous years this was mostly reflective in that the art work is made up from small reflectors, similar in size  to two cotton reels,  mounted on stalks around a metre tall.  It is titled: March of the Imagination.  Visitors are loaned a torch and can illuminate the display as they choose. Quite interesting to photograph as it was largely a matter of guessing an exposure and then footering until I had something reasonable.

The main image is the view across the river as it runs into the lake and on up the bank toward the building.  In the extra - a large gold balloon set into the columns across the front of the Adam room.

I still have one image from last week at LPH to organise and then I should be more or less up to date.  Thanks to everyone who has visited my journal recently - I should get caught up over the next few days!
