SIGNS

Had a day trip to Nagano with my parents, with the main purpose of riding on the Koumi Line famous for beautiful scenery. One of the stations along the line is located over 1,300 metres above sea level, which is the highest among all the railway stations in Japan.

Captured this sign at Nakagomi Station along the line, a station in the city of Saku, Nagano. We had soba noodles for lunch near the station. I captured this common sign simply because it has the name of the line on it, written not in English though.

Me and my father have often been out together to enjoy some train ride (he's a rail buff, and I like to ride on trains too); this time I was glad my mother came too.
