Don't stand too NEAR....

the topic for this weeks mono monday is NEAR so this teasel seedhead is the perfect example of a plant not to stand too close to as it's extremely prickly! Many a time have I walked past them and been stabbed despite my best efforts to steer clear! Evil!!  But they must stay as apparently the birds like them! The things we do for wildlife!
