We will remember

Thought provoking Remembrance Day marking 100 years since the end of WW1. Excellent service at WBC. We then spent time on the beach at the Danny Boyle inspired Pages of the Sea. The photo shows a huge sand picture of a Tasmanian soldier which was eventually washed away by the waves. Billy Brag was there to read poetry and sing. In the evening we went to a Remembrance celebration at Nothe Fort, with singing and the lighting of the beacon
