Karnak temple

Luxor is the new name for the ancient city of Thebes. Archaeologists are constantly digging and discovering new finds. It is now known that there is a kilometre of these sphinxs stretching between Karnak  and Luxor temples although many of them still lie beneath houses. The government is undergoing a program to relocate the residents so that eventually the line will be intact.
