Now there is MAYA III: Life - Death - Time exhibition

Maya III continues the series of highly successful Maya exhibitions at the Didrichsen Art Museum held in 1997-98 and 2005-06.

The exhibition presents the dualistic world view of the Maya Indians in which life, death and time are intimately intertwined. Particular attention is also paid to the exceptional precision of the Maya calendar and the measurement of time.

The exhibits come from the National Museum of Guatemala and the Popol Vuh Museum, augmented by others from the Didrichsen Art Museum's own collection.
