Geum

It had to be a quick walk with the dogs this morning .... I had to be home by 12 for the gas engineers to begin installing the new pipes (for further info see my other journal :-(( ).

While walking the dogs round their local area I always have a good look in the gardens we pass. This is not the best time of year for flowers but this lovely orange geum, still with some raindrops clinging to the petals, certainly caught my eye this morning.
