Extracurricular Studies

L is juggling 3 languages in his daily life.. Polish at school, and English and Mandarin at home.  Mom is moving him along in her mother tongue, and he loves it. Chinese is wonderful in that it is not phonetic, so there's no, "Why do you pronounce 'gh' like 'f' here, but here it's silent?" It's like memorizing little pictures.
