Twilight Zone

Trees are now shorn of leaves resulting in inky-feathery silohettes against the sky which I just love.

Good day at work - meetings went well plus an unplanned chat with one colleague over lunch, reminding me it is a) good to talk and b) good to have lunch.

Doing some shedding of my own by being more selective about which non-essential events and meetings I attend, using the criteria does it align with/ move forward  priorities ? Or will it be fun ? And if the answer is no to both  then politely decline.

This approach is based on The Happy Academic, a book recommended by a friend which I'm finding interesting. It has a number of useful insights, although I'm not in complete agreement with all the advice proffered.
