Campbell Town

Set off from Cable Mountain just before 9am and got to our place in Eggs and Bacon bay about 4.30pm - did have a few stops on the way.  Including Campbell Town (one of many familiar place names in Australia).  It is a lovely town, with a great bakery (wonderful looking pies).  We noticed a line of bricks in the pavement running a fair length of the main road.  Each one was dedicated to a convict sent to Australia from the UK.  Very poignant.  Will be exploring the area tomorrow and possibly trying out the kayaks that are available with the house - don't have suitable clothes - it is rather cold here for shorts but we'll see.  It's all good.
