Down my Way

This is what it looked like down my way today.  It was a lovely late fall day with warm sunshine and blue sky.  There are patches of snow on the ground as the last tenacious leaves are still clinging to the trees.  The geese are happily swimming in the shallows with the snow capped mountains in the distance.  Perfect!  Many thanks to Freyjad for hosting Wide Wednesday today!

I have to hurry off to dinner with my girlfriends tonight.  Thought I would catch up with everyone today but I ran out of time.  Tomorrow...

I am grateful that the four of us "girls" still get together monthly.  It's been 10 years since we worked together.
