Down and dirty in the garden again today, clearing leaves off a sloping flowerbed and coming face to face with these fruiting bodies. Looking on the internet I found something similar that called itself a lichenised fungus .. so maybe a midway hybrid? Anyway, rather amazing.

So, a leaf sweeping day and getting as many resilient weeds out of the drive as possible. Now trying to finish the quilt LD started and I've said I'll quilt for her. I haven't mentioned it, but I would love it to be done for Christmas.
