Friends

Patrick brought mom a locket with two clovers from the Glenelly Road where her grandfather grew up in the 1800s. He came to America in 1882. He was a lovely man. He married Emeline Beauchamp and they homesteaded in Gaston Oregon in 1912. He lived to be 100 and I remember him very well. He loved Oregon. Patrick said the part of Ireland he was from looks exactly like the area in Gaston where they built their house. Great sense of humor and a big heart.
