Gratuitous Processing

While waiting for a particularly long process to run at the office, I took a picture of the poker chips I play with while I read. I hate it when something takes up all your system resources, runs just long enough that you get bored, but not long enough for you to go do something else (except take a picture).

Then I threw the picture into GIMP and spent 30 seconds playing with the contrast and adding a lens flare. It hides the grainy, slightly out of focus, low-light camera shot.

On the plus side, I'm actually getting to do science again, rather than just admin bullshit.
