World looking in our window

Lovely Bookclub tonight which is not so much a 'book club' but a commitment to getting together with old friends every month or so on the pretext of choosing and maybe even reading a book.

Last month's book was 'The Girl You Left Behind' by Jo Jo Moyes which everyone that read it really enjoyed although the general view was that it isn't quite as good as 'Me Before You'.

This month it's 'The Book' by Alan Watts which was John Lloyd's choice on Desert Island Discs a couple of weeks ago. What's more our fabulous host Sue gave us all a copy for Christmas. How nice is that?
