Fish and tennis balls

Scratched my head thinking about Ingeborg’s Abstract Thursday theme ‘Tapestry’.

And then somehow I combined an actual wall of tennis balls (courtesy Wigmore Sports) with the lovely glass fish displayed in the window of a Burlington Arcade Shop. Hence the unlikely title.

Sorry went into the archives, but our grey decor did not inspire for this theme. Photos taken in London 2 weeks ago, ‘faffed’ now.

Popped out for 10 mns p.m. for my click and collect self-prezzie - a very exorbitant hair dryer (Mr G’s birthday yesterday, mine today!). Then back to my warm bed. Last day of antibiotics so a little fatigued, but almost there - touch wood. Desperately need to wash my hair. But will hang on till Saturday.

What a formidable and tenacious woman Theresa May is. How does a 62 year old woman, reportedly needing 4 insulin injections a day, survive a week of long meetings, a visit to Brussels, Prince Charles’ 70th party in between Question Time and her statement tonight. And all under constant criticism from all sides. I am bowled over.
