Braving The Elements

Today was probably the worse day of our holiday weather wise. Gale force winds meant that we could barely stand, so I've put together a collage to give a flavour of the day.

The cows were sheltering behind some old farm machinery. Mr E protecting poor Fionne from the sand being whipped up. Mr E trying to walk back to the car. Water blowing out of an old trough.

I also photographed a 14 pointer stag with black rope completely entangled around his antlers. Initially I thought it was undergrowth but I suppose he'll be free of it when he loses his antlers.
