Hubert and Kiki

We let Hubert have some time with Kiki so he would understand what had happened. When we first brought her back he came up and had a sniff and gave her a wee lick, just as he's done each time she's come back from a vet visit. He snuggled down with his chin on her back, he loves to sit this way, watching over her and protecting her. After a while he just lay beside her, lying stretched out right next to her. We decided to leave Kiki with him for the night, to give him time to process it. I didn't have the heart to take her away, it just didn't seem right.
