Down my Way

Wide Wednesday's challenge was "Down my way" so here is a shot on the corner where I stop at a stop sign as I leave my suburban neighborhood. The gate is open to the farmland that has been approved for "urban growth"; I hope it is not developed too soon! The fall colored trees are around the farm house on that land. To the right of that house is a forested area and then a wetland where the eagles have built their nest. 
I enjoy living so close to open space so I can take a short drive and be in the country. Thanks for stopping by this tag today. I plan of reading everyone's Blip in the tag......it is so interesting to see where each of us lives.
By the way, those spots are rain drops that must have gotten on my lens.
