A Good Sing

Up early this morning in order to get to a 'Come and Sing' day at Lichfield Cathedral. A fantastic day singing Vaughan Williams' 'Dona Nobis Pacem', a tricky number and with very moving words. It was written after VW's personal experiences as a stretcher bearer in WW1. A reasonable performance, probably as good as it could have been and sublime to sing a a good acoustic. Lovely evening with LD and ex, and takeaway tea :-)
