Buddhist Temple in Lamphun

In northern Thailand for a few days: today I visited the old historical town of Lamphun, south of Chiang Mai.
This white 5-tiered tower was amazing in the blatant midday sun.
I thought the temperature would be cooler in the North but in fact it turned to be even hotter than in Bangkok!
