Sanda island and Lovely Waves

11.3C with lots of sunny sunshine. Light to moderate ESE/E breeze.

Grocery shopping.

We drove the ten miles or so South to Southend then followed the road round past Dunaverty beach and Kiel to Carskey Bay. No seals on the rocks at Kiel today. The beach at Carskey was clear of seaweed and lots of sand had been washed in. The tide was high and the waves were too.

We walked along to the far end and back.
Fergus did lots of running and then some more running.
Two seals popped up in the eaves from time to time and watched us walking along. They were very curious and came close into shore and bobbed up and down in the waves as they built up to break on the beach.

Later Apothecary7 was painting. BBC Radio 2 was on in the background.
