Misty Morning

It was definitely the season of mists and mellow fruitfulness as I stepped over the threshold this morning before sunrise. The path over the Meadows was suspiciously slippery which found me crunching over frosty grass covered in a carpet of stiff fallen leaves, in order to get to have a coffee at Bruntsfield before heading to the coal face.

David and Luca arrived later in the morning armed with piano music to play on the beautiful grand piano at our disposal. There is no comparison between a grand piano situated in a vaulted room and the synthetic keyboard he has at home.

Later there was a vegetable stew to be made and a gentle hoovering of the Dower House -nothing too taxing, seeing it is a Sunday.
