BEETROOT

Realised today's my Gran's birthday - she would be 131 today!

It's her recipe - 1lb. of cooked beetroot, a big funky onion, good sploosh of wine vinegar mixed with a couple of pinches of salt, 2 tsps. sugar & warm water to taste. All mixy up & wait for the deliciousness that will come!

Today was chilly & gloomy - the plane trees on Place Bossuet have become (extra) litter-louts
