Llandrillo from Hendwr

Any job in the Corwen direction from home always seems to have a pre-requisite of freezing temperatures attached and today was no exception.

The job was at a lovely caravan site on the back road between Corwen and Bala and the brook we were working on could not have been more picturesque. The Afon Llynor only has a 3 mile fetch so although there had been a reasonable amount of water in it, it was already back down to welly boot depth by the time I got in it.

There were plenty of signs of flooding on the Dee but with bright sun and the blue skies it seemed mainly that the river was pretty much back to normal flow.

It would have been nice to have time for a few more photographs as it was such a gorgeous day but in the end this misty view will suffice. I say misty view, shhhh don't tell anyone but I think it was actually someone's chimney in overdrive rather than genuine mist.

Obligatory Large here.
